Hi There,
Thanks for stopping by.... The Challenges that i am entering this tag into are:
Simon Stamp and Show says "One Colour"
Linda Ledbetter on the Grungy Monday 24 "Perfect Distress" http://www.timholtz.com/vid_perfectdistress.htm. A demmo can be found on this link.
For the tag background I used the wrinkle free technique using Dusty Concord and Chipped Sapphire I then used chipped sapphire again to stamp up the town and bitty grunge. I then cut flowers from the Alterations range in Glassine paper and then made up some perfect distress with the powders and egg plant adirondack ink and sprayed them over the flowers a few times with drying in between. It makes it shine which is cool but difficult to pick up with the camera. I hope you like this .... it came out really well i think, it makes it look like a stormy sky above the town ....not intended but a happy mistake to make.......Are there mistakes in crafting do you think or can we mostly cover them up to make them look like we meant it !!!!! I managed to use the colours from the same family.
Thanks for visiting and i will see you next time take care Mandy x
Stamps used from Stampers Anonymous Rockstar and Bitty Grunge.
Hi everyone thanks for stopping by if you have a minute I would love to hear any comments that you have... I am very new to all this so its all a bit hit and miss at the moment, I will get there in the end i'm sure....bye for now Mandy x

Autumn Colours
Hi there
How are you today thanks for stopping by ........This is for the Artistic Stampers Monthly challenge of Autumn Colours you should stop by and join in the fun if you hav'nt already.
I had no idea what i was going to do for this challenge so waited for a couple of weeks to see if new DI's would come ......alas it was not to be so i used the old faithfuls instead.
The Stamps I used were all from Paper Artsy flora and fauna SIFF3,and HP1005. The Background Wild Honey. Frayed Burlap and Fired Brick. I used a bit tissue tape for the branch effect. I thought i would all tie in with Autumn. I hope you like this card. I am off to look at all the other cards now as they all give so much inspiration .....catch up with you soon x

Stripes
Hi Everyone,
Simon says Stripes for this weeks Simon Stamp and Show ...... so i thought i would play with my latest purchase of Alice and Wonderland stamp set by IndigoBlu "Alice II'' . What fun i had .... I like the way this card came out and it makes me laugh that i never know what i am going to do when i sit down. I went for the monochrome look here with a little bit of Lilac in the mad hatters hat but the camera can't really pick that up.....shame it just adds a bit of colour. Used black soot distress inks and a mini attacher to attach the picture to the card for a bit of intrest. I hope you like this card .....can't wait for next week challenge.....off now to try and upload the artistic stamper challenge of Autumn......thanks for stopping by until next time .....x

Tim in 10
Hi there
Thanks for stopping by...
This card is all about the Grungy Monday 23 challenge run by Linda Ledbetter over at Studio 3 L seeing what could be created in ten mins using at least 1 of Tim Holtz Products. As i am new to all this and don't know how to do a link to his site I will just mention that you can find him at www.timholtz.com. Sorry about that but if anybody could give me any pointers i would be happy........
Anyway I knew it had to be quick so inking a background for me was out of the question.... i decided to do a simple matt and layer from one of Tim's paper stashes and then needed some interest and dimension. I chose to stamp up a ticket using the Stampers Anonymous ticket stamps then stamped a sentiment inside this from the same stamp sheet. I then covered this with walnut distress ink and glued a fragment to the sentiment. This was then attached with some mini paper clips and glued in place. I did'nt think i would manage it in time as had finger trouble trying to get the clips on !!!
I enjoyed making this card as there was no time to dawdle .....hope you like it. Have a great day x

Blue and Orange
Hello Everyone
I have made this tag for the Sunday Stampers and the challenge this week was Blue and Orange. I did not know what to do so i just went with the flow using my new IndigoBlu stamp set Grand Tour II . I was quite pleased with how the tag came out. Firstly the background was coloured using spiced marmalade, rusty hinge, stormy sky and broken china. I then stamped the main image using broken china and then off set and stamped the main image again using a black archival. I used the same stamp set for the words. The butterfly was stamped on grunge paper and coloured using broken china. I then made a flower out of tissue tape colouring again with the same ink pads and then adding an orange button for interest.
I had fun making this not knowing how it was going to turn out. I wanted to join in last week but never had the time to upload the image........sometime life just gets in the way.... Thanks for looking......going to play with alice and wonderland stamps next yeeha!! xx
